My primary research interest is in how individual factors such as self-efficacy and mobility function interact with a person’s physical environment to impact their physical activity levels, fall risk, and mobility disability trajectory. Related research interests include how older adults approach individual and environmental barriers, older pedestrian safety, care transitions, and interventions to maintain or improve mobility function in older adults.
